Cini crossed over May17, 1999 - she was 16  and 1/2 years old.  She wrote her story below,  Dec.13, 1998, on her 16th birthday.     Basenjis are bossy - even from the grave ... so, she thinks it's still her kingdom.  It is!

I am Cini the great and powerful. Okay, okay,  I'm a 16 year old Basenji but I AM STILL THE AFRICAN QUEEN. My two subjects are Tai and Gilbert.   You'll meet them later.
I am in the midst of writing my autobiography and I must also help Tai and Gilbert write their stories.  You know how Whippets are- sleep, eat, play, sleep, sleep, run, run.  These were my Whippet subjects is 1985.  Tai and Heidi, (Heidi crossed over in 1996).  You see in this picture, it looks as if I was sleeping.   But no, I was protecting my two Whippets.
